By 2016 BIM files, or Building Information Modelling, will be made mandatory on all government buildings costing more than £5 million. Warner Howard's top four Low Energy products have had BIM information available for a few months now, and others will be available soon!
The purpose of BIM is to become the smarter, smaller and more useful version of CAD. The models downloaded contain far more information and detail, making it the new benchmark in building specification. Providing BIM object files is just another way in which Warner Howard is making life easier for specifiers.
